Besides great contribution to the state budget and creation of hundreds of jobs, Electronics Company TQT has breakthrough in product quality together with many social activities. Therefore, over 7 years of operation, TQT has developed well to reach a noble title: Labour Hero
TQT was established in 1988 under great pressure of difficulties with only 9 employees and a capital of 200 million VND, but the enterprise still had test coloured broadcasting tests.
“Every beginning is difficult”. Up to now, TQT boasts remarkable achievements. Director Quang said: “When an item is produced, we think of other products that may be needed in the future. Creativeness is the guideline of TQT, wireless radio appliances, FM radio waves transmission machine, semiconductors and transmitting aerials (antennas)…are continuously improved matching the most modern technical advances. TQT is the first enterprise in Vietnam to produce a coloured TV. Its capacity has increased from 100-200W at the beginning, 300-1,000W in 1990s, 2kW in 2002 to 5kW in 2004. The products of TQT are in a variety of nice designs with high quality and low prices. An imported TV used to be 1.2 billion VND while TQT TV of the same kind was just 300 million VND. Therefore, TQT products soon became popular throughout the country. TQT has installed more than 700 television-radio stations for the provinces in the mountainous area of Viet Bac, Tay Bac, the Hong Delta, Central region, highlands, Southern Central regions and the Cuu Long Delta. TQT also took part in many important programs of Vietnam Radio and Television Station. TQT products are also present in Laos, Cambodia and many other countries in the world.

The turnover of the enterprise has increased remarkably with 2 billion VND contribution to the State budget. Mr. Nguyen Le Son, Trade Union Chairman said: “At present, TQT has 130 stable labourers in Nha Trang City and many other with labour contracts outside Khanh Hoa Province. Most of them are skilled workers. Insurance policies and health care for the staff are assured. The living standard of employees has constantly much improved.
Over 20 years of construction and development, TQT was granted 1 golden medal, 2 silver medals in the Vietnam Technological Economic Fair in 1990, silver medal for 2kW coloured TV in 1998, Golden Globe Award at High Quality Vietnam Products in 2001, labour decoration class III for distinguished achievements for successive 5 years 1999-2003, certificates of merit by the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Finance…for the great contribution to the charitable social activities, technology, science…Particularly, at the 7th national Emulation Congress in 2005, the enterprise had the honour to be commended Labour Hero in the innovation period… With its achievements, the enterprise was honorably encouraged and visited by many State and Party leaders such as General Secretary Do Muoi, National Assembly Chairman (presently General Secretary) Nong Duc Manh …

According to Director Tran Van Quang, the contribution to the Fund for the poor, construction of charity houses, support to natural disaster sufferers, orange agent victims, …are the good deed of “When you drink from the stream, remember the spring” and “Unbroken leaves cover broken ones.” Besides, the enterprise also constantly sponsors traditional musical shows...Especially, great attention is paid to high quality products such as wireless digital cameras, 60kW semiconductor TV…“Labour Hero” title came to TQT as a good surprise, which resulted from the great effort and devotion of the whole staff.
