Hon Tam Resort is one of the 10 sea tourist attractions that was offered the title “The Best 2005 Attractive Tourist Place in 2005”, together with Nha Trang Bay, Ha Long Bay, Mui Ne Beach (Phan Thiet), Cat Ba Beach, Vung Tau Beach, Sam Son Beach (Thanh Hoa), Mui Ne Sand Hill (Binh Thuan), Cua Lo Beach (Nghe An), Tuan Chau Island (Quang Ninh). Located south of Nha Trang Bay, 5km from the shore, Hon Tam Island is an appealing sea island ecotourism resort. Here remains natural deserted beauty with tropical evergreen forest and the winding white beach. Beneath the cliff, half submerged in the clear blue water is the rendezvous of various kinds of fish swimming heartily. It’s fantastic to behold schools of fish winding through colourful coral reefs. Therefore, many domestic and international tourists flock to Hon Tam whenever coming to Nha Trang City.

Since the beginning of the year 2004, the number of tourists coming here reaches more than 100,000. Encouragingly, the number of tourists returning to Hon Tam makes up a large scale. The achievements result from good development of sea-island tourism potentials, new forms of entertainment service... Besides the fresh seafood shops, lunch buffet in Hon Tam is also inviting with hot and delicious food. Tourists aren’t disturbed by pedlars.
This year, Hon Tam Resort plans to organize some new adventurous tourism activities. Mr. Minh said a road around the mountain was under construction to transfer a mountain climbing tour into bike tour around Tam Mountain. Adventurers will be more satisfied with the 4km bumpy path. Another new tour is spending nights on the Peak of Tam Mountain. After dinners in the restaurant, tourists will climb the mountain spending nights in cloth tents beholding stars. No less inviting is a tour of mountain climbing by rope organized by Tam Resort and Hong Bang Company (Ho Chi Minh City). With imposing spectacular mountain cliffs, Hon Tam is an ideal place for this tour. Hon Tam guarantees the safety for those who take this tour.
