Just after the shout, two young men at the same time climbed onto a bamboo pillar shinny with fat. One man who seemed to be a good climber managed hurriedly to fix a flag on the top in viewers’ cheers and boisterous drumbeats while the other tried ploddingly but finally fell down onto the ground making everybody burst into laughters.
“Leo cot mo”, chasing ducks and balancing on buoys are folk games attracting many foreign tourists in Hon Tam Resort.
To the south of Nha Trang Bay, Hon Tam Resort is one of the most inviting tourist destinations. There still remains a deserted carpet of a lush green forest and a romantic long stretch of sand. Especially new and interesting about Hon Tam Resort is camp fire service for those who want to spend nights on the island. This picnic site provides 200 colourful tents. Joining the camp, tourists can be offered the montagnard’s alcohol made of rice imbibed through a straw and grilled food while singing and dancing throughout the nights. No less interesting is to lie on the beach and enjoy the view of the blazing red sunset until everything is deep in the dark. On April, 30th (the Liberation Day of South Vietnam), this site received 300 tourists.
Vo Thanh Minh, Hon Tam Tourist Resort manager said: “We are going to ask for the permission to build a road winding around the island. Mountain climbing games and tours contemplating the coral reefs from glass bottom boat Kayak will be held in the place where stand uprising cliffs. Beside a fresh seafood restaurant and a lunch buffet region, Hon Tam will have a stall selling all food with only one price.”
