Real pictures
The 85 exhibited photos show memorable moments of bilateral cooperation and friendly activities between Vietnam-Republic of Korea in general and Khanh Hoa Province-Ulsan City in particular, such as the official visits of the leaderships of Vietnam to the Republic of Korea and vice versa during the past 30 years; cooperation activities and achievements in various fields of economy, trade and investment, science and technology, health, education, culture and sports, tourism, exchanges; aid and support activities of the Government and people of the Republic of Korea for Vietnam and Khanh Hoa in natural disasters and epidemics. Besides, there are photos depicting the beauty of natural landscapes, people, cultural characteristics, and history of the two nations.

Although the scale of the exhibition and the number of photos are not large, the exhibition has helped visitors understand more about the friendly relations cultivated by the authorities and people of Vietnam and the Republic of Korea in past three decades. “Through the photos displayed at the exhibition, it can be seen that there are cultural similarities between the two nations and many exchange and cooperation activities between the two countries in recent years. I have intended to visit South Korea and hope that more and more Koreans come to Vietnam and Khanh Hoa for sightseeing and investing”, said Nguyen Thanh Phu (Lam Son Street, Nha Trang City).
Meaningful activity
The exhibition is one of the activities to mark the 30th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (December 22, 1992 - December 22, 2022); and 20 years of cooperation between Khanh Hoa Province and Ulsan City (April 19, 2002 - April 19, 2022). According to Dang Quoc Van, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports, the exhibition aims to tighten the relations between the two nations after 30 years of establishing diplomatic relations and between Khanh Hoa and Ulsan after 20 years of cooperation, thereby promoting other cooperation activities and making the friendly relations between the two nations and the two localities more sustainable.
Attending the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Jeong Ho Dong, General Director of Economic and Investment Promotion Bureau of Ulsan City, said, “The photos displayed at the exhibition give me new impressions. The works reflect the friendly and diplomatic relations in 30 years between the two nations and 20 years between the two localities. I am very proud to be able to introduce the images of Ulsan through the photos to the people in Khanh Hoa. Hopefully, there will be more and more meaningful cooperation and exchange activities between the two localities in the time to come."
