Miss Sea Tourism Vietnam 2022 is the first edition of the pageant in Vietnam. With the theme “Let’s come to the land of aloe wood and sea of salanganes” and “Proud to be Miss Sea Tourism Vietnam 2022”, the pageant will not only honor the beauty of Vietnamese women associated with the nation’s sea and islands but also contribute to introduce the monuments and landscapes of Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa to domestic and foreign tourists. The organization board will try to select a face to represent the beauty of Vietnamese women and promote the patriotism of Vietnamese people. After the pageant, each contestant will carry the responsibility of an ambassador for the images of a peaceful, beautiful and colorful Vietnam.

“We acknowledge the great importance of the pageant in reviving and developing the tourism of Vietnam in general and Khanh Hoa in particular. Although Khanh Hoa has organized many large-scale pageants at national and international levels, it has never organized a beauty contest with theme about tourism. Therefore, Miss Sea Tourism Vietnam 2022 is expected to bring a new breeze, helping to raise the province’s sea tourism brand. Nha Trang has a fantastic beach, scenic places and modern facilities which can host international-level events.
Contestants of many ethnic groups from many regions across the country will converge and express themselves in Miss Sea Tourism Vietnam 2022. During the pageant, they will have opportunities to learn about sea tourism and become the representatives who will contribute to promote sea tourism of Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa, according to Huynh Duc Hoa. Miss Sea Tourism Vietnam 2022 will create an opportunity for Khanh Hoa to launch new and unique tourism products after a tough time due to Covid-19.
The semi-final and final rounds of the pageant are held in Nha Trang. The semi-final round takes place at Champa Island Nha Trang on July 9 and 10; the final round takes place from July 11 to 28. The coronation night is held at Vinwonders, Vinpearl Nha Trang on July 30 and is broadcast live on VTV, VOV.TV, KTV, some local radio and television stations and social media.
