These programs often include performances with artistic quality and content suitable to the entertainment needs of local people.

Continue reaching people in remote areas

In order to implement the project of cultural and art activities for people in remote, border, and island areas and ethnic minorities in the period 2021 - 2030, Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports will organize art activities, especially in the two districts of Khanh Son and Khanh Vinh. Priority will be given to unique traditional cultures that are in danger of being lost or fading into oblivion. The department will also hold cultural and art festivals and contests at provincial level; help Khanh Son and Khanh Vinh districts to hold local festivals; improve the libraries in Truong Sa (Spratly) Island District and the two districts in mountainous areas.

The remote, isolated and island areas and areas with a large number of ethnic minorities will be classified and be high on the list of priorities for cultural and art activities. The cultural movement in these areas will also be promoted. The province will support the communes with many ethnic minorities to build bookcases and public libraries at public places, border posts, and schools. By 2025, the province strives to form traditional art clubs in 50% hamlets of ethnic minority areas.

The implementation of cultural and art activities will also contribute to strengthen the block of great national unity, promoting the ownership role of people in preserving traditional cultural values. From 2021, Khanh Hoa will maintain and gradually increase the number of cultural and art activities held in the grass roots, according to Le Van Hoa, deputy director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports.
