Khanh Hoa Province's 2020 Spring Newspaper Festival closes

The closing ceremony of the 2020 Spring Newspaper Festival of Khanh Hoa Province was held at Khanh Hoa library on February 4.

The closing ceremony of the 2020 Spring Newspaper Festival of Khanh Hoa Province was held at Khanh Hoa library on February 4. Present at the event were Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Council; and Ho Van Mung, Member of Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing Party Committee, Head of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Propaganda and Training.

Opening on January 16, the festival displayed over 3,000 publications of more than 200 newspapers and magazines over the country; 300 photos of the countries in ASEAN community; documents; and books about the Communist Party and Uncle Ho.

At the closing ceremony, the organizer committee of the 2020 Spring Newspaper Festival gave prizes to ten excellent works. Journalist Tran Duy of Khanh Hoa Newspaper was among the prize winners.

After the ceremony, all displayed publications were offered to the libraries, cultural centers, and border soldiers over the province, and people in Spratly Island District.
