Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival 2019 takes place between January 28 and February 9

Over many years of organization, the spring flower festival has become one of the cultural favorites of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa during Tet days. Besides aiming to create an interesting venue for the locals and tourists on Lunar New Year occasion, the organization of the festival also want to honor the traditional cultural characteristics of Vietnam through the displays and activities of the festival. 
 
Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival 2019 is held at Yen Phi Park and Children’s Park. The artisans will bring their works to display at this sixth edition of the spring flower festival, including apricot blossom, orchids, ornamental trees, rockwork, bonsais, ornamental dry trees, etc. A Red-whiskered bulbul competition, folk music contest and music shows are also parts of the festival. 
 
The 2019 Spring Flower Festival with numerous beautiful displays and decorations is expected to be an ideal place for locals and tourists to enjoy colorful flowers and take photographs in Tet days. One of the highlights of the 2019 festival is the large flower boat and the replicas which reflect the familiar images of villages and rural areas in Vietnam, such as thatched cottage, flock of pigs (zodiac animal of 2019), rice field, haystack, opo squash trellis, luffa trellis, maize, and sugar cane.
 
Some parts of the streets around the parks such as Ngo Quyen, Pasteur, Phan Chu Trinh, and Le Loi will be used as the festival venue, displaying flowers, arts works, ornamental decorations, and kiosks selling Vietnam’s handicrafts, local products, sketches, and calligraphic works. Temporary traffic regulation on these streets is going to be made during the time of the festival. Vehicles will be parked on Le Loi Street opposite Khanh Hoa Provincial Post Office and on the pavement along Phan Chu Trinh Street.
