The Department of Education & Training has just held a ceremony to summarize the school-year 200-2009 and carry out the tasks for 2009-2010. Among the representatives attending the ceremony was Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee Le Xuan Than.
In the school-year 2008-2009, the Department of Education & Training has gained satisfactory results. Many schools have renovated teaching and learning methods. The education quality has improved with a junior high school pass rate of 98.28% and senior high school pass rate of 81.5%. Teaching staff’s skills have much improved. 80 schools and 196 libraries have met the national standard 2009.
In the school year 2008-2009, the Department of Education & Training received an excellent emulation flag. 2 groups and 2 individuals were granted certificates of merit for their contribution to the construction of “Friendly school-active learner”. 4 units were rewarded emulation flags by the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.
