Vietnam Airlines recently announced to offer a 50% discount on ticket price of some flights on rush days of the 2009 Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).
Accordingly, a fight from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City between January 15-25, 2009 and a flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi between January 30 - February 6, 2009 cost VND600,000 each; a flight from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City between January 15-25, 2009 and a flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Da between January 30 - February 6, 2009 is selling at VND400,000.
