A brone drum 60cm in width and 50cm in height used to keep human bones has recently been found in Phu Xuan village of Krong Nang District in the Central Highlands of Daklak, said Director of the Daklak General Museum, Luong Thanh Son. The drum was found by waste collectors in a coffee farm.
Archeological professor and Doctor Nguyen Khac Su said, “This discovery shows that very early in history, the Central Highlands was influenced by the Dong Son culture dating from 3,000 to 4,000 years ago.” He also warned Dak Lak should prevent any waste collection activities in the place where the drum has been found.”
