A mission of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism led by Deputy Minister Doan Van Viet conducted survey at establishments serving international tourists with vaccine passports to Khanh Hoa Province on November 22. Le Huu Hoang, Standing Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee had a working session with the mission.
The mission surveyed the implementation of plans on vaccine passport entry, ensuring pandemic prevention and control for international visitors at resorts, namely Riviera Cam Ranh; Alma, Fusion Cam Ranh and Radisson Blu Cam Ranh in Bai Dai, Cam Lam District. Deputy Minister Doan Van Viet requested the Department of Tourism and relevant agencies and departments to closely cooperate to successfully implement the pilot program on vaccine passport entry for international visitors to Khanh Hoa; businesses to comply with procedures to welcome international vacationists to ensure their safety and comfort during their time in Khanh Hoa.
At the meeting, Le Huu Hoang proposed the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism would submit the suggestion on entry visa exemption for tourism stimulus to the Prime Minister; connect with the Ministry of Transport to soon resume international flights to Khanh Hoa; provide support for the province to organize promotion events during the pilot phase of welcoming back international tourists; work with the Ministry of Health on specific guidance on professional measures for surveillance, testing, isolation and treatment in case of any international tourists detected with Covid-19; issue tour confirmation documents which may be asked at their next destinations (in case they travel to other places to visit their relatives), etc.
