Le Huu Hoang, Standing Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has issued a plan to  cautiously welcome tourists back in safe adaption and response to Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa Province.
 
Accordingly, the domestic tourism resumption includes 3 phases. In the first phase from now to October 15, Khanh Hoa is open to fully and partly vaccinated local visitors to secluded resorts meeting Covid-19 safe regulations assessed by Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism. In the second phase from October 16 to November 15, all tourist sites meeting Covid-19 safety regulation are allowed to welcome domestic visitors, fully or partly vaccinated, (inside and outside the province). In the third phase from November 16 to December 31, Khanh Hoa destination continues to be open to domestic tourists.
 
Besides, the Provincial Steering Committee for Human Disease Prevention and Control also issued Covid-19 safety assessment criteria for tourism businesses. Accordingly, tourism businesses and tourist sites are allowed to reopen to fully and partly vaccinated travelers. 100% of tourism staff are required to have been vaccinated and adhere to 5K regulations together with daily body temperature checks and periodical testing for the virus in accordance with the Provincial Steering Committee for Human Disease Prevention and Control.

The province has also planned to pilot "vaccine passport" entry for international visitors when approved by the Prime Minister. The trial of the "vaccine passport" entry for international visitors on charter flights includes 2 phases. The first phase from November 15 to December 31, 2021 will welcome visitors to resorts in Bai Dai, Cam Lam; and in the 2nd phase from January 1 to March 31, 2022 will have the participation of additional resorts, namely Vinpearl on Hon Tre Island, Merperle Hon Tam, Champa Island Nha Trang, etc. 
 
The Covid green pass is issued to fully vaccinated adults with the second dose administered at least 14 days before travel or those who have recovered from Covid-19 and completed home quarantine. The Covid yellow pass is for anyone who has received the first dose administered at least 14 days or have a negative test result for SARS-CoV-2 taken less than 72 hours before arrival.
