According to the provincial Department of Tourism, the number of tourists coming to the whole province is estimated only about 1.4 million, down 80% compared to 2019. Of the sum, international visitors make up 340,000, down 87.9%. Tourism revenue in 2020 is estimated to reach only VND 5,080 billion, down 81.3% over the same period last year.
 
Facing this situation, the provincial People's Committee has directed the Department of Tourism to coordinate with other industries to solve the proposals of businesses related to issues such as lengthening tax payment time, reducing value added tax; restructuring debt payment time, exempting overdue interests, creating conditions for tourism businesses and employees to access support packages of the government; lower electricity prices for accommodations; prolonging the period of temporary payment of retirement and death insurance. Up to now, problems proposed by Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association and businesses have been basically solved; all proposals beyond authority are recommended to higher levels.

Speaking at the conference, Do Trong Thao - Deputy Director of the State Bank of Khanh Hoa Branch said that by the end of September 2020, credit institutions in the province have adjusted debt terms and extended debts for 2,097 borrowers in difficulties due to the Covid-19 with VND6,985 billion totally, including 314 enterprises with more than VND6,114 billion; reduced interest rates for 11,923 borrowers with outstanding balance of VND21,680 billion (reduced interest amount hit nearly VND85 billion. Besides, banks have lent 7,615 new customers borrow with VND18,761.7 billion with preferential interest rates. 
 
Representatives of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs said that, till September 30, the provincial People's Committee approved the list and funding support for workers and enterprises in difficulty according to Resolution No. 41/NQ-CP with more than VND23.8 billion. According to the Provincial Tax Department, up to now, 6,895 enterprises, organizations, business households and individuals have been allowed tax extension with the amount of nearly VND657.2 billion.
 
At the conference, representatives of tourism businesses said that tourism activities are very difficult, many businesses are on the verge of bankruptcy. The provincial Department of Tourism and related departments and branches need to report this fact to the Provincial People's Committee and the Government to have solutions to save businesses.
