Vietnam Administration of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism) has just asked tourism management agencies to implement checks and report the number of foreigners, including tourists stranded because of quarantine requirements, closed borders, grounded planes, etc amid COVID-19.
Besides, accommodation businesses with tourists stuck due to COVID-19 travel restriction were encouraged to offer accommodation/meal exemption or discount if possible until the Ministry of Transport can resume flights to help them return home.
