Vietnam Administration of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism) has proposed suspension of tours to Daegu City, North Gyeongsang Province and other epidemic-hit areas; required all tour operators to stop bringing tourists from the epidemic-hit areas to Vietnam; and announced 14-day quarantine for those from Daegu City and North Gyeongsang Province.

Earlier, on February 24, Vietnam Tourism Association also issued a document to ask its business members to stop taking tourists to countries hit hard by the Covid-19 epidemic, including South Korea, Italy, Japan and Iran until they are safe from Covid-19 announced by the countries; and shortened tours already in the epidemic-stricken countries.

Tour operators are required to report information of visitors during 21 days before their departure to Vietnam. Visitors must strictly adhere to regulations on prevention and control of the epidemic, including quarantine when in need.
