Potentials to develop yatch tourism

With the beautiful landscape of sea and islands, favorable weather and abundant tourists, potentials to develop cruise ships in Nha Trang are very big.

 

Recently, Horizone Vietnam Yatch Co., Ltd. has put a 5-star yatch into operation on Nha Trang Bay. Horizon 03 yacht, 32 meters in length, 15 meters in width, 40 tons in loading, 642C in power of two motors, can go at the speed of 5.8 nautical miles per hour and carry about 175 passengers (not including its crew and staff). At present, the company is operating tours on Nha Phu Swamp from Long Phu Tourist Pier in Vinh Luong Commune, Nha Trang. Taking this tour, tourists can enjoy the landscape of sea and islands with well-known resorts like Six Senses, An Lam Ninh Van Bay, etc. The yatch also will drop in Hoa Lan island for tourists to contemplate orchids, visit butterfy garden, ride orstriches, see animal circus, etc. Especially, tourists can experience sports activities like floating, kayak rowing, swimming, diving, fishing, etc.

 

 

According to tourism experts, potentials to develop yatch service in Nha Trang is very big as Nha Trang has a very beautiful bay and sunny weather almost year. 

 

Emperor Cruises Ltd Co. has launched yatch tour in Nha Trang Bay since 2015 with day tour and night tour. The two tours are selling well now. Passengers who want to take them need book even one month in advance. 

 

 

 

According to Phan Thi Quynh Ngan, general manager of Horizon yatches, Horizone Vietnam Yatch Co., Ltd.  is planning to open tour to carry tourists to see moon on Nha Trang Bay. Meanwhile, Emperor Cruises Ltd Co. is planning to open overnight tour on yatch. 

 

According to Nguyen Van Thanh, Standing Vice-chairman of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, “Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa is regarded to have potentials to develop yatch tourism. At present, some companies intend to invest yatch tours as well as welcome cruise tourists.”
