Khanh Hoa Province has a lot of famous spiritual tourist destinations like Ponagar Temple, Long Son Pagoda,  Nha Trang Cathedral…These places have attracted a lot of visitors.

Ponagar Temple

Located on Cu Lao hill and by Cai River, Ponagar Temple vestige area has nearly 18 hectares in area. Its architecture is very special. It’s a group of temples which are ancient, poetic and mysterious.

Ponagar Temple, built by Cham people between the 8th century and the 13th century, worships the land goddess. Annually, from the 21st to 23rd day of the third lunar month, Ponagar Temple Festival is organized. It has been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage.

Long Son Pagoda

Long Son Pagoda is located on 23-10 Street, Phuong Son Ward, Nha Trang. It is chosen as the headquarters of the Buddist Sangha of Khanh Hoa Province.

The 133-year-old pagoda has Giant Buddha Statue on a hill. Now, thousands of visitors come to this pagoda each day.

Nha Trang Cathedral

Nha Trang Cathedral is located in the center of Nha Trang City. It's locally known as the stone church or Nui Church in Nha Trang. It was constructed in provincial French Gothic style from September, 1928 to May, 1933. The stone edifice is punctuated with stained glass windows with three large bells in the tower.

Suoi Do Pagoda

For years, Suoi Do Pagoda has become one of spiritual destinations. Located in Dien Toan Commune, Dien Khanh District, 15 kilometers apart from Nha Trang, Suoi Do Pagoda is suited on a mountain. So, visitors have to climb more than 100 stairs to reach the pagoda.

Annually, on the 8th, 18th and 28th days of the first lunar month, a large number of visitors come to Suoi Do Pagoda to pray.

Am Chua

According to legend, Am Chua is the place the goddess Thien Y A Na descended on earth. The goddess who taught the local people how to do farming, weaving, etc. Am Chua and Ponagar Temple are two places worshipping the goddess.

Am Chua Festial takes place from the 1st to 3rd of the third lunar month. The festival attracts thousands of prilgrims each year.
