More and more restaurants like rest stops have opened along Khanh Le mountain pass (Khanh Vinh District, Khanh Hoa Province). They not only make the road from Nha Trang to Da Lat busier but also create more jobs for locals.

More and more restaurants like rest stops have opened along Khanh Le mountain pass (Khanh Vinh District, Khanh Hoa Province). They not only make the road from Nha Trang to Da Lat busier but also create more jobs for locals.
 
Khanh Le mountain pass is a spectacular and romantic road. It’s a harmony of mountains, forests, waterfalls, streams, dew and clouds. There are also restaurants which are rest stops for travelers. They are places for travelers to have a rest after a long trip as well as enjoy food and landscape.
 
Kim Phuong restaurant in Lien Sang Commune, Khanh Vinh District is look like a villa with beautiful scenery with mountain, bridges on a stream, etc. This place attracts a lot of visitors. Each day, thousands of travelers drop this restaurant. It’s spacious and clean. It also has friendly atmosphere.

Suoi Da – Hon Giao (in Son Thai Commune) is a well-known stop. It has a big parking. Coming to this place, visitors can contemplate very beautiful view and enjoy special rural dishes. Its owner Huynh Lan Sinh revealed that he thought to set up this place right when Da Lat – Khanh Vinh road was just formed. Recently, he put some rural games into this place to attract visitors. There are also lively works made of stones displayed in this place.
 
Not only serving food and place for travelers’ rest, some restaurants sell some souvenir products, brocade and some kinds of farm products. 
 
The restaurants like rest stops, the road becomes more busy. Many locals who are ethnic minority people have jobs. “They were unfamiliar with serving at first, but we guided them about serving skills and taught them some foreign language sentences to speak with foreigners”, the owner of Kim Phuong restaurant said. 
 
There are about 10 restaurants as rest stops for travelers from Son Thai Commune to Cau Ba Commune in Khanh Vinh District. According to Pham Ngoc Huu, Vice-chairman of Son Thai Commune People’s Committee, the restaurants in Son Thai Commune creates jobs for 40 – 50 locals. They also sell farm products as a way to introduce local specialties to tourists, especially foreign tourists.
