Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has just agreed about policy on 1/500 detail planning of Suoi Do Ecological Tourist Site in Dien Toan Commune, Dien Khanh District. It has opened a development opportunity for this rural area.
The project of Suoi Do Ecological Tourist Site, whose investor is Suoi Do Co., Ltd., has granted investment certificate since 2015 with total investment of VND95 billion. Located at the foot of Chin Khuc mountain and beside Suoi Do Pagoda, the project covers an area of 22 hectares, including two sectors. The northern sector comprises services, restaurant, reception and fishing area. The southern one comprises accommodation works and bungalows. Especially, the hollow area here will be made to be a lake to beautify the landscape.
According to Khanh Hoa Planning and Construction Verification Center, the investors will set up service areas by the mountain foot to take advantages of ecological conditions and water surface. Nature will be given priority in the work. Construction items have only 1 – 2 floors. The project also designs a space of green trees along with walking paths in connection with the mountain and forest landscape. Specifically, construction density in the project is only 17%; green tree rate: 12 sq.m./person; maximum number of guests: 300 – 500/day.
According to Nguyen Thi Kim Huong, Vice-chairman of Dien Khanh District People’s Committee, the land for the project is not favorable to agriculture. The investor was born in Dien Khanh and desires a project for his hometown. Visitors to Suoi Do Pagoda are rising. The project is expected to serve such visitors and develop tourism for the district.
According to Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Planning and Investment, after investment certificate was granted to the project in 2015, the investor has bought land for the project with VND33 billion in total. After 1/500 detail planning of the project is approved, the investor need to execute the project soon to put Suoi Do Ecological Tourist Site into operation, contributing into the budget and creating more jobs for locals.
