Accordingly, more than 8,500 professional and movement runners participated in VnExpress Marathon Marvelous Nha Trang 2022, and 2,000 children took part in Kun Marathon. 1,200 volunteers and over 600 policemen supported the marathon. 134 prizes with the total value of over VND1 billion were given. There were more than 120 pieces of news reporting the events, attracting the interest of many people in and outside the country.
At the meeting, the representative of VnExpress Newspaper proposed Khanh Hoa Province continue to organize the marathon in 2023; increase the scale of the race to international level through connecting tourism tours with the race to attract foreign participants; expand important race routes to ensure the safety of athletes; and so on.
Dinh Van Thieu highly appreciated the results of VnExpress Marathon Marvelous Nha Trang 2022 and approved the proposal for the organization of VnExpress Marathon Marvelous Nha Trang 2023 (scheduled for August). He also requested VnExpress Newspaper to make the organization plan soon to facilitate the cooperation among the related agencies and sectors. Thieu directed the provincial departments and sectors to offer support to ensure the success of the marathon.
