A training course for lifeguards opened at Nha Trang City Center for Sports Training and Competition on April 4.
Attending the training course were 54 lifeguards, who are working at businesses, households, and aquatic facilities in Khanh Hoa Province.

In the course, the teachers of Nha Trang University, Khanh Hoa University, 115 First Aid Center, etc. teach the participants basic and in-depth knowledge (theory, practice) about how to perform basic first aid; how to swim to rescue drowning people safely; swimming skills; and so on. The participants will be tested on holding breath underwater, swimming with drowning victim, and artificial respiration. Participants who complete the course will be given a certificate.
The course ends on April 8. Another training course will run from April 25 to 29.
