Being encouraged with the successful broadcast of tradition martial art and vovinam lessons on KTV, Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports continues to cooperate with the sports associations in the province and KTV to broadcast lessons of badminton, swimming and shuttlecock kicking from March to November on KTV. There are two broadcasts per week; each lasts 15 minutes.

As planned, badminton lessons are televised on Thursday and Saturday mornings; the first swimming lesson is on May 1. The instructors will teach viewers basic techniques of badminton such as attacks, defense, serves, and movements. The first swimming lesson is televised on June 4, and the next lessons are televised on Wednesday and Friday mornings. The viewers will learn to breath, float, tread water, etc. Shuttlecock kicking is scheduled to broadcast every Thursday and Saturday; the first lesson is on July 2.

Currently, sports activities have resumed in the new normal. However, not many people have registered for sports and physical exercise classes due to the complicated evolution of the pandemic. Therefore, it is necessary for sports lessons to be broadcast on TV and social media sites. “With the broadcast of sports lessons, viewers can choose their favorite sports to practice to improve their health. This will help to promote the movement of public sports in the province,” said Nguyen Tuan Thanh, deputy director of the provincial Department of Culture and Sports.
