Accordingly, besides injured players who cannot fully recover for the first match (Doan Van Hau, Tran Minh Vuong, and Bui Tien Dung), the list also doesn’t name goalkeeper Nguyen Van Hoang, defender Bui Hoang Viet Anh, Le Van Xuan and midfielder Ly Cong Hoang Anh. These four players will continue to practice with Vietnam U-22 to prepare for the next matches.

Reportedly, the national football team left Vietnam on August 27 evening and arrived in Saudi Arabia on August 28. Goalkeeper Dang Van Lam will fly from Japan to Riyadh to join the team.
Vietnam will play Saudi Arabia at 9pm on September 2 (local time) or 1pm on September 3 (Vietnam time).
