The tournament is slated to take place at Ninh Binh Provincial Sports Arena from March 23 to 27. It will be played by 6 male teams (hosts Trang An Ninh Binh, Sanest Khanh Hoa, Hanoi, The Cong, Ha Tinh, Border) and six female teams (Ninh Binh, Quang Ninh, VTV Binh Dien Long An, Hai Tien Thanh Hoa, Thai Binh, Kinh Bac - Bac Ninh).
The tournament is a part of the national tournaments and is a preparatory step for the teams before entering the first round of the national championship (expected to take place in April).
