That was a trial format and will be applied to the editions in the future if it is well received by the participants, according to Nguyen Minh Dat, director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Center of Services and Sports Competition, deputy head of the organization board of the 2020 tournament.
The final match of Khanh Hoa Province's football championship 2020 was played by Nha Trang City and Ford Nha Trang on December 7. The match went to penalty shootout after both sides failed to score within the 90 minutes of play, and Ford Nha Trang triumphed in the end with the score of 4-2.
