The opening ceremony of the 2019 football tournament for teenagers and pupils of Nha Trang City was held at Nha Trang Culture, Information and Sports Center on July 16.

Taking part in the tournament are 28 teams from the localities, schools, and SOS Children’s Village in the city. The participating teams will compete in group phase, knockout phase, quarter-final, semi-final, and final.

The group phase runs from July 16 to 18 with 12 matches being played each day. The knockout phase starts in the mornings of July 19 and 20. The semi-final and final will be played in the afternoons of July 22 and 23.

In the group phase, matches cannot end in a draw; therefore, the penalty shootout will be used to determine the winners if scores are level after regular time.
