Ho Van Mung, Member of Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing Party Committee, Head of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Propaganda and Training, attended the opening ceremony.

Four teams took part in the competition included provincial Department of Propaganda and Training, Khanh Hoa Newspaper, team of press agencies in the central and highland region, and Khanh Hoa Radio and Television Station.

The teams played in knockout format. Finally, Khanh Hoa Radio and Television Station won the championship; Khanh Hoa Newspaper got second prize. Provincial Department of Propaganda and Training and team of press agencies in the central and highland region finished third and fourth respectively.
This was the second press football competition of Khanh Hoa.
