All three debutants at the National Futsal Championship 2019 – HDBANK 2019, Quang Nam, V&V FC, and Da Nang, set up their target to place in top four teams after the qualifications in order to qualify for the next round. Therefore, the qualifying round of this year’s National Futsal Championship promises to see exciting competitions between new faces and veteran teams.
The 2019 National Futsal Championship first stage (qualifications) takes place at the multifunctional sports hall of Nha Trang University from April 2 to 10. Sanvinest Sanna Khanh Hoa, Thai Son Bac, Vietfootball are the three teams taking part in the 2018 championship. Sanvinest Sanna Khanh Hoa, the recently-changed name of Sanna Khanh Hoa, under the instruction of Coach Dang Dinh Khang has achieved many achievements in more than ten years playing at the domestic professional tournaments. In recent two years, the process of team rejuvenation has caused the team some difficulties in order to combine the experienced players’ and the young players’ levels of competence effectively. As reported recently by Sanvinest Sanna Khanh Hoa assistant coach before the championship, the host team had prepared carefully for this year’s edition and would play their best to enter the second round and satisfy the supporters.

Thai Son Bac is also a veteran at the national futsal championship. However, they did not perform well in last year’s championship and did not place in top six teams. Therefore, they have to compete in the elimination round to qualify for the second round of the 2019 tournament. With many experienced players such as Nguyen Van Huy, An Lam Toi, Nguyen Thanh Tin, and Tran Trung Hieu, Thai Son Bac is said to be still a tough opponent of other teams.
The three debutants at the 2019 championship also show their determination and ambition through their preparation for the tournament. Quang Nam FC was established some months ago with most of the players being the young ones of Ho Chi Minh City and some of Kim Toan Da Nang. Under the instruction of quality coach Hoang Phuc (former coach of Kim Toan Da Nang) and assistant coach Dang Phuoc Anh (former national player), Quang Nam FC set target to be among the second round qualifiers.
The two representatives of Da Nang Province, Da Nang and V&V FC also invested quite well for the championship. Although being only formed around one month ago, Da Nang is expected to be a formidable opponent in the qualifying round. They signed 2018 Golden Futsal Ball Vu Quoc Hung and are aiming to sign Tran Tuyen of Sanvinest Sannatech Khanh Hoa.
With the experience and quality of the veterans and the investment of the new teams, the qualifications of the 2019 National Futsal Championship promises to see exciting matches.
