Challenge Vietnam 2019 to take place in Nha Trang

After the first organization in Nha Trang in 2016, the triathlon Challenge Vietnam 2019 will come back to the beach city in July. This international triathlon is one of the main activities of the National Tourism Year in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa and promises to be an exciting sports event for the participants, tourists and locals.

The triathlon Challenge Family, consisting of swimming, cycling, and running events, is a popular and favorite sports event of a lot of people in the world. The tournament was first held in Roth (Germany) in 2002 and has gradually become a well-known sports event with more than 40 editions organized across the world. As said by the organizing unit Pulse Active Company, the Challenge Vietnam 2016 received good feedback from the participants and many people loving sports all around the world. Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa has a spectacular race course and fresh air, which is an ideal condition for the competitions.

Around more than 500 male and female professional and amateur athletes are expected to take part in the 2019 Challenge Vietnam. The triathlon is scheduled to take place at 2-4 Square (Nha Trang), along Tran Phu Street and Pham Van Dong Street in July 12-14. The experience from the last organization will be an advantage helping the riviera to prepare and hold this second edition successfully. 
 
At a recent meeting with the organization unit, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Dac Tai directed the provincial Department of Culture and Sports and Department of Tourism to associate with the organization unit and other provincial units to ensure the necessary conditions for the triathlon as well as the safety and public order during the event. 
 
Reportedly, the 2019 Challenge Vietnam organization committee will invite Johanna Solano, Miss Costa Rica 2011, top ten Miss Universe 2011, and the winner of the 2016 Challenge Vietnam women’s event, to take part in the 2019 edition. Besides, many professional athletes from Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, the Czech Republic, etc. will participate in this year’s triathlon in Nha Trang.
