Sanna Khanh Hoa – Bien Vietnam, a phenomenon in V-League 2018

Currently sitting second in V-League 2018, Sanna Khanh Hoa – Bien Vietnam (Sanna KH-BVN) has become a phenomenon at this year's domestic professional tournament.

Currently sitting second in V-League 2018, Sanna Khanh Hoa – Bien Vietnam (Sanna KH-BVN) has become a phenomenon at this year’s domestic professional tournament.

Sanna KH-BVN gained the attention of many football fans in Vietnam when finishing second at Mekong Club Championship 2017, joined by four teams from Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand. However, the result of Sanna KH-BVN at Mekong Club Championship 2017 was also said to be a lucky one. Khanh Hoa team only placed sixth at V-League 2017 and was only selected to join Mekong Club Championship 2017 as a replacement after all four top teams of V-League 2017 had refused to take part in the tournament.

In the 2018 season, Sanna KH-BVN has been showing their improvement and will definitely achieve a V-League medal. This is really a reward for endless efforts of the coach and the players of Sanna KH-BVN since joining V-League with many difficulties.

Sanna KH-BVN started playing at the domestic professional playground in 2015 with non-experienced U-21 players like Quoc Chi, Tan Tai, Dinh Nhon, Dinh Khuong, Lam Ti Phong, Pham Trum Tinh, and so on. The team has always stuck to the philosophy of fair play. Sanna KH-BVN has created their impressive typical playing style at V-League. The team players have also often performed their collective spirit throughout the matches.

With limited funds, Sanna KH-BVN could not afford to buy outstanding quality players or offer high salary to attract and keep marquee players. However, with the coaching of Vo Dinh Tan, the underestimated players who joined Sanna KH-BVN have blended well with the team. Coach VoDinh Tan was a former player of Khanh Hoa football team in the 1990s; therefore, he has understood well the difficulties of the team when playing in a professional competition like V-League. Coaching a team which has not been a strong one and without any stars, Vo Dinh Tan has connected and led Sanna KH-BVN effectively. Placing among top three strongest teams of the 2018 V-League is an offspring of Coach Vo Dinh Tan in particular and Sanna KH-BVN in general.

It can be said that Sanna KH-BVN is standing at the threshold of history when they are assuring a V-League medal and is striving to make it a silver one.
