The 2018 football championship of Khanh Hoa took place from August 14 to 25 with the participation of 12 teams over the province. Besides the teams of the localities like Nha Trang, Cam Lam, Khanh Vinh, Khanh Son, Van Ninh, and Dien Khanh, this year’s competition continued to see the joining of three teams formed by the sports promoters, which were Thanh Thanh, C-CASA, and Olympic Gym.
Thanh Thanh has been a familiar team to the football fans in Khanh Hoa because this team has always taken part in the province’s movement tournaments. Thanh Thanh is business football team managed by Tran Phuc Thao, Deputy Director of Thanh Thanh Travel. Thanks to the investments of Thao, Thanh Thanh not only has had many quality non-professional players but also often organized friendly tournaments in and outside Vietnam. Most recently, Thanh Thanh took part in the 2017 international friendly tournament held in Thailand and is competing in the ongoing international tournament for former football stars in Nha Trang.

Another business team in Khanh Hoa is C-CASA Ninh Hoa led by Truong Hung Tin, owner of a hotel business in Nha Trang. The team was formed around five to seven years ago and mostly includes young players from Ninh Hoa District living in Nha Trang. Since 2013, C-CASA Ninh Hoa has joined many movement tournaments of Khanh Hoa as well as Vietnam, such as 1-men football tournament, beach football tournament, futsal tournament, and national amateur football tournament. The team often finishes in top 4 strongest teams and won championship at Khanh Hoa futsal championship 2017.
Meanwhile, Olympic Gym was established not long ago. The team is supported by sports promoter Tran Duc Bao and has been known for showing good discipline. Olympic Gym had an impressive performance at Khanh Hoa’s 2018 football championship as they overcome many teams to earn a spot in the final against C-CASA Ninh Hoa where they failed to win the champion by a small margin. This was an encouraging result for a young team like Olympic Gym.
Hopefully, Khanh Hoa’s football movement will developed more strongly thanks to the enthusiastic support from the sports promoters.
