40th Vietnamese Teachers' Day celebrated

Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training held a ceremony on November 12 to mark the 40th Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982 - 2022). Present at the event was Pham Thi Xuan Trang, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council; and Dinh Van Thieu, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.


At the event, the representatives reviewed traditional Vietnamese Teachers’ Day; honored generations of teachers’ contribution to the local education in Khanh Hoa. Nearly 22,000 teaching staff are working at 537 schools in Khanh Hoa. The teacher quality has improved, contributing to increasing education quality.

At the event, Dinh Van Thieu appreciated teachers’ contribution to the provincial education and training development and requested the education and training sector to continue improving teaching and management staff’s competence and professionalism, school facilities; focusing on ideal and political education among teaching staff.


On this occasion, the Ministry of Education & Training awarded certificates of merit to the Department of  Education & Training and to 8 groups and 43 individuals for their outstanding achievements in education and training 2021 – 2022. The Department of  Education & Training awarded certificates of merit to 29 individuals for their outstanding achievements in education and training in the period 1982 – 2022.
