On September 22, the Association of Admirers of Dr. Alexandre Yersin celebrated the 159th birth anniversary of Dr. Alexandre Yersin (September 22, 1863–2022) and 30th foundation anniversary of the Association of Admirers of Dr. Alexandre Yersin (November 11, 1992-2022).
Present at the event were Ha Quoc Tri, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa Province; and Dinh Van Thieu, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa People’s Committee. Representatives reviewed the life, career and significant contribution of Dr. Alexandre Yersin and 30 years of the construction and development of the Association of Admirers of Dr. Alexandre Yersin.

On this occasion, Khanh Hoa People’s Committee presented a certificate of merit to the Association of Admirers of Dr. Alexandre Yersin. The Association of Admirers of Dr. Alexandre Yersin announced the foundation of its 2 branches, namely Charity Doctors with 84 members and Yersin Junior High School in Nha Trang City with 30 members.
The association also offered scholarships to disadvantaged students at Khanh Hoa Rehabilitation Education Center for Disabled Children and Yersin Junior High Schools in Nha Trang City and Cam Lam District.
