Nha Trang City Youth Union has just held a Youth Creativity Contest for Youth Union members and young people in the city. Though organized for the first time, the contest has drawn several new ideas and initiatives with 57 entries of products and models.
 
The entries are mostly solutions to real teaching, learning and daily life challenges; softwares, environmentally friendly products, technical solutions in adaptation to climate change, initiatives for environmental protection, economic development, pandemic prevention and control; health care, etc.

A contestant named Nguyen Thanh Van Uyen, Ly Tu Trong High School, introduced environmentally friendly dishwasher detergents made from natural materials such as peels of pomeloes, oranges, limes, aloe vera, etc.
 
Many other creative products included the model of car-parking signaling to lower the risk of a crash at parking lots by Van Thang Ward Youth Union; “Student Confessions” by Bui Thi Thuy Hien, Ly Tu Trong High School Youth Union to help young people share their emotions, helping stress from learning and everyday life, etc.
 
“This is the first time the city Youth Union has held such an creativity contest for young people. We are so excited to join the event. The contest not only creates a playground for Youth Union members and young people but also provides us an opportunity to learn about so many amazing models and initiatives,” said Bui Thi Thuy Hien.
 
Chu Minh Phuong, Secretary of Nha Trang City Youth Union said the creativity contest was launched in the end of 2021, receiving as many as 57 entries. 22 products and models were chosen to the semifinal and 8 finalists were rewarded. The first award went to the “Student Confessions” by Bui Thi Thuy Hien.
 
The contest has drawn several creative and practical models and products such as domestic wastewater  treatment model, maths softwares, “Student Confessions” and so on. The award-winning products are of high creativity and feasibility as solutions to some problems in learning and everyday life.
 
The contest has been applauded with positive comments from Nha Tranng City Youth Union affiliations. Therefore, the local Youth Union plans to organize the contest every year to create a platform where students can meet and share their new ideas and initiatives. Practical solutions will be taken into consideration for support for further development.
