Xom Bong Bridge to be closed for construction on Mar. 26

Khanh Hoa Department of Transport has approved a traffic control plan for the construction of Xom Bong Bridge, which is scheduled to be closed on March 26. Vehicles will be directed to other routes, including Tran Phu Bridge during the project, according to Nguyen Thanh Hien, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Transport. 
 
Accordingly, trucks from the northern Nha Trang will take 2-4 Street to crossings between 2-4 Street and Pham Van Dong Street → Tran Phu Bridge → Tran Phu Street  → Ma Vong Roundabout →  23-10 Street or Le Hong Phong Street. Trucks over 2.5 tons are allowed to operate between 22:00 and 5:00. Outside the time frame, trucks over 2.5 tons traveling on National Highway 1 from the direction of Hanoi are to go in the direction of National Highway 1 → Vo Nguyen Giap Street → the center or the south of the city; travel to the intersection of 2-4 Street with Dien Bien Phu street, then turn round into the National Highway 1 in the direction of  taking Ngo Gia Kham Street → Nguyen Xien Street → National Highway 1, or turning into Dien Bien Phu Street → Pham Van Dong Street (towards Vinh Luong Commune) → National Highway 1, or turning round into Nguyen Xien Street → National Highway 1, or into Nguyen Xien Street → National Highway 1. Trucks, 2.5 tons or less, are to allow the general direction mentioned above and current road signs in Nha Trang City.

Coaches with 29 seats or less are to travel in the following direction: 2-4 Street to crossings → Pham Van Dong Street → Tran Phu Bridge → Tran Phu Street → Xom Con Street → 2-4 Street→ Tran Quy Cap Street → Ma Vong Intersection → the city center or the south of the city; follow current road signs in Nha Trang City.
 
Other vehicles are directed to other ways by crossing Tran Phu Street instead of Xom Bong Bridge. Two-wheelers are permitted to take right turns at the traffic lights at the intersections of Tran Phu – Xom Con and Tran Phu - Yersin. Vehicles operating on 23-10 Street must follow the traffic control at Ngoc Hoi Intersection construction project site.
 
As for the direction from the south of Nha Trang City to the north, trucks must follow the direction: 2-4 Street→ Xom Con Street → Tran Phu Street → Tran Phu Bridge → Pham Van Dong Street → Ton That Tung Street (or crossings between Pham Van Dong Street and 2-4 Street) →  2-4 Street→ the north of the city.
 
Coaches with 29 seats or over operate along Yersin Street → Tran Phu Street → Tran Phu Bridge → Pham Van Dong Street → Ton That Tung Street (or crossings between Pham Van Dong Street and 2-4 Street) → 2-4 Street → the north of the city. Coaches traveling on Highway 1 from the direction of  Ho Chi Minh City are to take the National Highway 1 → Nguyen Xien (or National Highway 1C, section of Ru Ri Pass) → the north of the city. Coaches over 29 seats are banned from running between 6:30 - 8:00 and 16:30 - 18:30 according to the current road signs in Nha Trang City.
 
Coaches over 29 seats or less travel along Tran Quy Cap Street → 2-4 Street → Xom Con Street → Tran Phu Street → Tran Phu Bridge → Pham Van Dong Street → Ton That Tung Street (or crossings between Pham Van Dong Street and 2-4 Street) → 2-4 Street → the north of the city.
 
Other vehicles will cross Tran Phu Bridge instead of Xom Bong Bridge. Two-wheelers moving on Tran Phu Street are permitted to go straight ahead through a red light at the intersections of Tran Phu – Yersin, Tran Phu – Le Loi, Tran Phu -Xom Con and Pham Van Dong Street – Thap Ba Street.
 
Tour buses with over 29 seats to Ponagar Temples follow the direction: Pham Van Dong Street → Cu Huan Street → stop for drop off or pick up on 2-4 Street, in front of Ponagar Temples (or Cu Huan Street) → 2-4 Street → Ton That Tung Street → Pham Van Dong Street → a parking lot next to Yen Sao Restaurant on Pham Van Dong Street. Vehicles must comply with current road signs with a ban on travel direction from 2-4 Street (Thap Ba) → Cu Huan Street → Pham Van Dong Street → a parking lot next to  by Yen Sao Restaurant on Pham Van Dong Street.
