42 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in the province on October 20, according to Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control. The new cases include 19 in Nha Trang City, 12 in Ninh Hoa Town, 1 in Van Ninh District, 2 in Dien Khanh District, 4 in Cam Ranh City, 1 in Cam Lam District and 3 in Khanh Vinh District. 1 of the cases is of community infection in Ninh Hoa.
During the period, Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control reported 89 more recovered from Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa Province.

Nha Trang City has the most cases (4,853), followed by Ninh Hoa Town (2,151), Van Ninh District (814), Dien Khanh District (291), Cam Ranh City (234), Cam Lam District (190), Khanh Vinh (57) and Khanh Son (1).
