Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control reported 95 more recovered from Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa from 7am on September 30 to 7am on October 1, bringing the tally to 7,356, accounting for more than 94% of the infections since July 22.
 
During the period, 25 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province. The new cases include 10 in Nha Trang City, 11 in Ninh Hoa Town, 3 in Van Ninh District and 1 in Cam Lam District. 1 of the cases is of community infection in Nha Trang City.
 
7,802 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 8/9 districts and towns, including Nha Trang City with the most cases (4,345), followed by Ninh Hoa Town (2,019), Van Ninh District (782), Dien Khanh District (268), Cam Ranh City (206), Cam Lam District (160), Khanh Vinh (21) and Khanh Son (1). Khanh Son District has gone more than 14 days without a new locally transmitted coronavirus case.

11,210 F1 and 13,789 F2 have been traced. 647,052 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 4,244,815 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. 19 areas related to positive cases have been temporarily blockaded. The provincial Center for Disease Control also recorded 85 deaths of Covid-19 since July 20.
 
According to the Provincial Steering Committee for Human Disease Prevention and Control, 1,636  doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered in Khanh Hoa on September 29, raising the total to 817.560 doses, including 770,746 first doses and 83,769 second shots during the coronavirus wave. Khanh Hoa’s vaccination rate has ranked 6th nationwide.
 
Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has promptly released allowances and social benefits totaling VND193,445 million to 99,939 self-employed people and others in need under the Government’s Resolution No.68 and the Prime Minister’s Decision No.23.
