15 new cases, 22 recovered from Covid-19

Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control reported 22 more recovered from Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa from 7am on October 1 to 7am on October 2, bringing the tally to 7,379, accounting for more than 94% of the infections since July 22.
 
During the period, 15 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province. The new cases include 7 in Nha Trang City, 3 in Ninh Hoa Town and 4 in Van Ninh District. None of the cases is of community infection.

7,817 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 8/9 districts and towns, including Nha Trang City with the most cases (4,352), followed by Ninh Hoa Town (2,022), Van Ninh District (786), Dien Khanh District (268), Cam Ranh City (206), Cam Lam District (161), Khanh Vinh (21) and Khanh Son (1). Khanh Son District has gone more than 14 days without a new locally transmitted coronavirus case.
 
11,264 F1 and 13,822 F2 have been traced. 650,308 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 4,275,972 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. 19 areas related to positive cases have been temporarily blockaded. The provincial Center for Disease Control also recorded 85 deaths of Covid-19 since July 20.
 
Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has promptly released allowances and social benefits totaling VND197,025 million to 101,565 self-employed people and others in need under the Government’s Resolution No.68 and the Prime Minister’s Decision No.23.
 
The Provincial Covid-19 Relief Center has received more than VND22.06 billion, over VND16.12 billion of which has been used to support the pandemic response and assistance; and distributed more than 415.15 tons of rice and other food stuff to residents.
