Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control reported 56 more recovered from Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa from 7am on September 28 to 7am on September 29, bringing the tally to 7,254, accounting for nearly 94% of the infections since July 22.
 
 During the period, 32 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province. The new cases include 12 in Nha Trang City, 10 in Ninh Hoa Town and 10 in Van Ninh District. None of the cases is of community infection.
 
7,750 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 8/9 districts and towns, including Nha Trang City with the most cases (4,321), followed by Ninh Hoa Town (2,001), Van Ninh District (775), Dien Khanh District (268), Cam Ranh City (206), Cam Lam District (157), Khanh Vinh (21) and Khanh Son (1). Khanh Son District has gone more than 14 days without a new locally transmitted coronavirus case.

11,102 F1 and 13,724 F2 have been traced. 642,942 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 4,192,293 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. 29 areas related to positive cases have been temporarily blockaded. The provincial Center for Disease Control also recorded 85 deaths of Covid-19 since July 20.
 
 According to the Provincial Steering Committee for Human Disease Prevention and Control, 1,832 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered in Khanh Hoa on September 28, raising the total to 815,240 doses, including 770,399 first doses and 81,518 second shots during the coronavirus wave.
 
Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has promptly released allowances and social benefits totaling VND185,676 million to 96,234 self-employed people and others in need under the Government’s Resolution No.68 and the Prime Minister’s Decision No.23.
 
The Provincial Covid-19 Relief Center has received more than VND21.92 billion, over VND16.12 billion of which has been used to support the pandemic response and assistance; and distributed more than 415.15 tons of rice and other food stuff to residents.
