Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control reported 31 more recovered from Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa from 7am on September 23 to 7am on September 24, bringing the tally to 7,011, accounting for over 91% of the cases since July 22.
 
During the period, 29 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province. The new cases include 19 in Nha Trang City, 4 in Ninh Hoa District, 4 in Van Ninh District and 2 in Cam Lam District. One of the cases is of community infection in Nha Trang City.
 
7,601 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 8/9 districts and towns, including Nha Trang City with the most cases (4,270), followed by Ninh Hoa Town (1,953), Van Ninh District (730), Dien Khanh District (267), Cam Ranh City (205), Cam Lam District (155), Khanh Vinh (20) and Khanh Son (1). Khanh Son District has gone more than 14 days without a new locally transmitted coronavirus case.

10,739 F1 and 13,582 F2 have been traced. 632,339 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 4,036,366 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. 10 areas related to positive cases have been temporarily blockaded. The provincial Center for Disease Control also recorded 84 deaths of Covid-19 since July 20.
 
7,396 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered in Khanh Hoa on September 23, raising the total to 801,164 doses, including 753,303 first doses and 82,123  second shots during the coronavirus wave.
 
Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has promptly released allowances and social benefits totaling VND175,883 million to 91,341 self-employed people and others in need under the Government’s Resolution No.68 and the Prime Minister’s Decision No.23.
 
The Provincial Covid-19 Relief Center has received more than VND21.88 billion, over VND16.09 billion of which has been used to support the pandemic response and assistance.
