Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control reported 60 more recovered from Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa from 7am on September 20 to 7am on September 21, bringing the tally to 6,847, accounting for over 90% of the cases since July 22.
 
During the period, 19 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province. The new cases include 7 in Nha Trang City, 1 in Ninh Hoa District, 9 in Van Ninh District and 2 in Dien Khanh District. None of the cases are of community infection.
 
7,531 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 8/9 districts and towns, including Nha Trang City with the most cases (4,240), making up nearly 2/3 of the infections, followed by Ninh Hoa Town (1,940), Van Ninh District (710), Dien Khanh District (267), Cam Ranh City (205), Cam Lam District (148), Khanh Vinh (20) and Khanh Son (1).

Khanh Son District has gone more than 14 days without a new locally transmitted coronavirus case. 
 
10,084 F1 and 13,455 F2 have been traced. 579,499 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 3,933,601 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. The provincial Center for Disease Control also recorded 84 deaths of Covid-19 since July 20.
 
Reportedly, 13,384 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered in Khanh Hoa on September 20, raising the total to 726,472 doses, including 684,547 first doses and 80,564 second shots during the coronavirus wave.
 
Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has promptly released allowances and social benefits totaling VND167,298 billion to 87,050 self-employed people and others in need under the Government’s Resolution No.68 and the Prime Minister’s Decision No.23.
 
The Provincial Covid-19 Relief Center has received more than VND16.9 billion, over VND15.9 billion of which has been used to support the pandemic response. Besides, the center has also received 415.15 tons of rice worth more than VND6.2 billion, 138 tons of vegetables and fruits; 453,500 eggs; 2,471 boxes of necessities of all kinds, 1,000 kg of pork and chicken worth VND4.38 billion to help struggling families; 2 ambulances, 25,000 face masks, 2,000 sets of medical protective gears, 44 ventilators, 1 multi-functional ventilator, 14 oxygen concentrators, 2,000 SARS-CoV-2 antigen rapid testing devices, etc. to support the medical care in Khanh Hoa.
