Nguyen Sy Khanh, Chairman of Nha Trang City People's Committee presided over a meeting on Covid-19 response with local authorities and agencies on September 13.
According to Nguyen Sy Khanh, the pandemic is currently under control in the city, but the city still need to be on high alert for the risks. The Chairman asked communes and wards to accelerate the propaganda and promote control of very high risk “red zones” and high risk “orange zones”, perform community testing in “red zones” and “orange zones” every 3 days; and give take-away service guidance. Local authorities are to boost inspection and supervision to ensure compliance with the andemmic prevention and control.
The extensive vaccination against Covid-19 may deploy injections even in the evening to speed up the process of vaccine rollout, ensuring all teachers, including private nursery schools, fully vaccinated, reaching the goal of more than 200,000 residents having received the first dose by September 16.
