Khanh Hoa goes 18 days without community Covid-19 case

Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control reported 55 more recovered from Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa from 7am on September 22 to 7am on September 23, bringing the tally to 6,980, accounting for over 91% of the cases since July 22.
 
During the period, 16 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province. The new cases include 5 in Nha Trang City, 10 in Van Ninh District and 1 in Cam Lam District. None of the cases are of community infection. Khanh Hoa has gone 18 days without a community Covid-19 case.
 
7,572 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 8/9 districts and towns, including Nha Trang City with the most cases (4,251), making up nearly 2/3 of the infections, followed by Ninh Hoa Town (1,949), Van Ninh District (726), Dien Khanh District (267), Cam Ranh City (205), Cam Lam District (153), Khanh Vinh (20) and Khanh Son (1). Khanh Son District has gone more than 14 days without a new locally transmitted coronavirus case.

10,630 F1 and 13,537 F2 have been traced. 628,669 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 3,998,860 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. 12 areas related to positive cases have been temporarily blockaded. The provincial Center for Disease Control also recorded 84 deaths of Covid-19 since July 20.
 
29,118 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered in Khanh Hoa on September 22, raising the total to 793,768 doses, including 745,888 first doses and 81,849  second shots during the coronavirus wave.
 
Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has promptly released allowances and social benefits totaling VND175,266 billion to 90,906  self-employed people and others in need under the Government’s Resolution No.68 and the Prime Minister’s Decision No.23.
 
The Provincial Covid-19 Relief Center has received more than VND16.9 billion, over VND15.9 billion of which has been used to support the pandemic response and assistance.
