Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control reported 78 more recovered from Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa from 7am on September 21 to 7am on September 22, bringing the tally to 6,925, accounting for over 91% of the cases since July 22.
During the period, 25 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province. The new cases include 6 in Nha Trang City, 9 in Ninh Hoa District, 6 in Van Ninh District and 2 in Cam Lam District. None of the cases are of community infection.

7,556 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 8/9 districts and towns, including Nha Trang City with the most cases (4,246), making up nearly 2/3 of the infections, followed by Ninh Hoa Town (1,949), Van Ninh District (716), Dien Khanh District (267), Cam Ranh City (205), Cam Lam District (152), Khanh Vinh (20) and Khanh Son (1).
Khanh Son District has gone more than 14 days without a new locally transmitted coronavirus case.
10,415 F1 and 13,498 F2 have been traced. 624,357 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 3,952,003 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. The provincial Center for Disease Control also recorded 84 deaths of Covid-19 since July 20.
Reportedly, 38,178 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered in Khanh Hoa on September 21, raising the total to 764,650 doses, including 725,721 first doses and 81,814 second shots during the coronavirus wave.
