Acelerating vaccine rollout for 100% of population aged 18 years and over vaccinated by end September

At the September 14 meeting on Covid-19 response with Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing Party Committee, Huynh Van Dong, Director of Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control said out of 902,000 adults aged 18 and over in Khanh Hoa, 431,300 have been given the first dose and 59,700 the second one so far. The province has enough vaccines for the first doses but 800,000 more doses are needed for the second shots.

 

 

 

Nguyen Hai Ninh, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee asked localities to speed up the vaccine rollout so that every adult will get the first Covid-19 jab and 40% the second one by the end of September. The provincial leader urged all localities to administer vaccines already allocated and CDC Khanh Hoa to ensure the schedule for their second dose. Volunteers are mobilized to help update data on the vaccination data onto the national Covid-19 vaccination portal to facilitate QR-based travel control, etc.
