Today on September 13, Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training celebrated the start of the new school year 2021-2022 at Khanh Vinh District Boarding Ethnic Minority School. Present at the event were Nguyen Khac Toan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People’s Council; Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; and Tran Ngoc Thanh, Member of Provincial Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization, Chairman of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
Due to the on-going Covid-19, the ceremony was sharply curtailed with flag salute, listening to the State President’s congratulation letter, speech for the new school year and drum beating to welcome the new academic year.

At the ceremony, Nguyen Tan Tuan shared with teachers, students and their families' difficulties during the training and education and encouraged educational staff to overcome challenges during the hard time in the new school year. On behalf of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee, the provincial leader conveyed the best wishes for safety, good health and happiness to all teachers, students and their families and hoped all would join effort for the teaching and learning to soon return to normal.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs offered 50 scholarships; Khanh Hoa Book and Education Equipment Company and Tuong Nghiem Company, Ltd donated 700 sets of textbooks and 400 sets of educational equipment to disadvantaged students in the province.
