86 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were recorded in Khanh Hoa Province from 5pm on August 3 to 5pm on August 4, according to Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control.
The new cases include 54 in Nha Trang City, 24 in Ninh Hoa, 4 in Van Ninh District, 2 in Dien Khanh District, 1 in Cam Lam District and 1 in Khanh Son District. The first case of Covid-19 has been reported in Khanh Son. 3 of these are in the community of Vinh Thai, Cam Tan, Ba Cum Bac; and the others are in locked-down and quarantine areas.

2,768 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been reported in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 8/9 districts and towns, including Ninh Hoa Town with the most cases (1,356), followed by Nha Trang City (1,147), Van Ninh District (125), Cam Lam District (64), Dien Khanh District (54), Cam Ranh City (18), Khanh Vinh (3) and Khanh Son (1).
