166 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were reported in Khanh Hoa Province from 5pm on August 1 to 5pm on August 2, according to Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control. The new cases include 85 in Nha Trang City, 67 in Ninh Hoa, 4 in Van Ninh District, 7 in Dien Khanh District, 2 in Cam Lam District and 1 in Khanh Vinh District. 10 of these are in the community of Nha Trang City, Dien Khanh, Khanh Vinh and Suoi Tan; and the others are home quarantined and in locked-down and quarantine areas.
2,503 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been reported in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 7/9 districts and towns, including Ninh Hoa Town with the most cases (1,271), followed by Nha Trang City (1,006), Van Ninh District (107), Cam Lam District (62), Dien Khanh District (42), Cam Ranh City (12), and Khanh Vinh (3).
