11 wards and communes in Nha Trang City identified at “high risk of Covid-19 infection” with more than 10 cases of community infection each have been temporarily blockaded. They include Phuoc Dong, Vinh Truong, Ngoc Hiep, Vinh Hiep, Vinh Ngoc, Vinh Hai, Vinh Phuoc, Vinh Tho, Van Thang, Van Thanh and Vinh Hoa.
 
Besides, all residents must remain indoors from 7pm to 6am starting from July 31 until further notice, except for medical care, funeral service, natural disasters, transport of essential goods, environmental sanitation and others involved in pandemic control, including reporters, supermarkets, Bach Hoa Xanh Stores, convenience stores; vehicles for production, import and export; gas stations and other emergencies. Others must be granted permission by authorities and have been tested negative for SARS-CoV-2.
 
682 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in Nha Trang City so far since June 23 with 16 communes and wards having over 10 infections. Many cases reported in Nha Trang City are of unidentified source of infection.
